Swiss iOS prevention app · Controlled pilot in preparation

Voluntary human company for the journey home

No one should have to
walk home alone.

The platform should not be funded through fear, but through voluntary support, partners and the Swiss pilot.

Safety should not depend on whether someone happens to have money in their account.

GoSafeHome is a Swiss iOS prevention app. When you start a session and a verified companion is available, the app connects you directly — voluntarily, person to person, and without a guarantee of safety.

  • Verified companions
  • In-app VoIP companionship
  • Live location only by choice
  • SOS alerts only the active companion

GoSafeHome. Request company. Be there for someone. Share only what feels right to you.

What GoSafeHome does

You decide what company looks like.

Companionship takes place through a real-time in-app VoIP audio connection over Wi-Fi or mobile data; it is not a separately enabled feature. Only live location is shared by explicit choice.

GoSafeHome is not an emergency, police, rescue, or crisis service. In immediate danger in Switzerland, call 117 or 112.
01

Request company

Start companionship. If an approved person is available, GoSafeHome connects you directly.

02

Be a companion

Approved people can choose to be digitally present for someone else.

03

Verified companions

During the pilot, identity and adult status are checked before activation.

04

In-app VoIP companionship

The conversation is the companionship: a real-time audio connection over Wi-Fi or mobile data. Private phone numbers are never displayed or exchanged.

05

Live location by choice

Live location is shared only when explicitly requested and only during an active companionship session. Conversations are not recorded.

06

SOS with a clear limit

SOS alerts only the active companion. It does not automatically contact police or emergency services.

How it works

Four steps. One direct connection.

Simple in the moment. Transparent about its limits.

01

Start your companionship

Tap “Walk with me.” If an approved companion is available, GoSafeHome connects you directly.

02

Talk in the app

Companionship begins through an in-app VoIP audio connection over Wi-Fi or mobile data. Private phone numbers stay hidden.

03

Choose location sharing

If you want, you can also share your live location during the active companionship session.

04

Arrive and finish

You end the companionship yourself. SOS alerts only the active companion and does not automatically contact police or emergency services.

I’m Sebastian, a trained plumber who now manages facility services. I taught myself programming and app development. As a father of two, I care deeply that an uneasy feeling on the way home is taken seriously.

A small human connection can make a meaningful difference.
