01What is GoSafeHome?

GoSafeHome is a Swiss iOS prevention app for voluntary, time-limited human companionship on the journey home.

02Is the app publicly available?

No. A working iOS prototype exists. A controlled pilot in Switzerland is being prepared.

03Who can become a companion?

During the planned pilot, companions will be checked for identity and adult status before activation and will complete an introduction.

04Do I have to share my location?

No. Location sharing is optional and intended only for an active session.

05Are conversations recorded?

No. The companionship itself is a real-time in-app VoIP audio connection over Wi-Fi or mobile data. Conversations are not recorded, and private phone numbers are never displayed or exchanged.

06What does SOS do?

SOS informs only the currently active companion using the designated emergency information. It does not automatically call police or emergency services.

07Does GoSafeHome guarantee safety?

No. GoSafeHome cannot eliminate risk and does not provide a guarantee of safety.

08How large will the pilot be?

The controlled Swiss pilot is planned for 200–500 volunteers.

09What is the funding target?

The target framework for pilot funding is CHF 50,000.

10Can people outside Switzerland participate?

The planned pilot is limited to Switzerland. International supporters can help fund it, but no availability outside Switzerland is being promised.
